About the Book

Parachute Course Weekend 22-23rd March 2003
The sponsored parachute jump in aid of JOTRUST Charity organisation, coinciding with the Cervical Cancer Awareness Campaign, 24th — 30th March 03, went exceptionally well at the weekend.

Top class, Chief Parachute Jump Instructor, CPJI, (Dave) provided first class training and instruction, which resulted in first time jumpers, Richard Nauyokas (Nooks), Barry Hudson (Assistant News Editor for the Evening Advertiser) and Debbie, receiving, BPA, British Parachute Association, membership, (temp) Jump log and Certificates.

Joe Murray, received a VGATW , Very Good All the Way, (faultless) result, for his superb descent, and Nooks result was GATW.
The C206's (light aircraft) on board, PJI, (Val) could hear Nooks shouting his safety count, 1-2-3-4000, 'check canopy' as he dropped from the plane - "I could hear him shouting 1000 feet above me." Well done! "I was afraid of heights" - Nooks, watch out Davina 'McCall'! - TV's 'loudmouth' presenter.
